A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Born and raised in TEXAS! However, I AM NOT A DALLAS COWBOYS FAN. My favorite sport is boxing and I’m heavy in the wellness era of my life. Been in mental health therapy every week for four years. WOW. What a game changer. I love to cook. I love BBQ’n even more and I have a chi-wiener dog named Negra that I now share with my partner. This is where I say art and design is LIFE. But you already know that. : )

2002 Started animation program at The Art Institute of CA
2002 Wanted to be a fine artist
2003 Started product design internship for promotional concepts.

2003 Started painting at home
2004 Started freelancing as a graphic artist for luggage and headwear brand.
2004 Kept painting at home
2005 Dropped out of Art School (major choice for me)
2005 Wanted to pursue more fine art
2005 - 2008 Worked as a freelance graphic designer for commercial apparel companies started showing fine art publicly.
2008 - 2012 MAJOR RECESSION. Couldn't find anymore commercial work in fashion/apparel. Moved into a much bigger studio, began a fine art mentorship and took painting to the next level.
2012 My First ever solo show as a fine artist!!!!
2013 Began a corporate freelance job as a production designer in Broadcast television. 2013 My first official gallery show and I got real art world collectors.
2014 Freelance corporate going well
2014 Art is moving forward..
2015 Gave up art world
2015 Became full time UI designer for corporate broadcasting co.
2015-2020
Employed UI designer
Painted on free time _ occasional showing and selling of work
2020-2022 PANDEMIC
2023-Present
LAID OFF from corporate UI job
Started Fine Art Studio again.
